Curriculum

At Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, we believe that our kids’ years in Children’s Ministry lay the foundation for their faith. Therefore, we have designed a curriculum that will go through the essentials of following Christ. We seek to answer three questions as our students go through their time in Children’s Ministry: Who is God? What has He done? And what is our response to Him? To accomplish this task, we have planned and written a curriculum that will take the children throughout the Old and New Testament seeking to answer these questions.

As children get older, their learning needs and capabilities change and grow. Our curriculum seeks to teach the children based on their learning needs by providing age-specific lessons from 2-years-old through 5th grade. The curriculum is also planned so that each year builds on material learned in previous years. Finally, our 3rd-5th grade curriculum is specifically made to prepare our kids for the verse-by-verse teaching of God’s Word that they will experience once their time in Children’s Ministry is complete.
